    The SBI Prime credit card offers a variety of benefits for their customers, which meet all of their lifestyle demands. It gives us huge discounts and cashback as reward points on various transactions like buying movie tickets, paying for dining, airport lounge access, etc.

    In this article, we will be talking about all the benefits, fees, and procedures of the Prime credit card.

    Eligibility Criteria of SBI Prime Credit Card

    Eligibility Criteria
    • For salaried employees – 21 to 70 years
    • For self-employed – 25 to 70 years
    • You should be an Indian Resident.
    • The minimum monthly income should be Rs. 75,000.

    Annual Fee and Sign up Benefits

    The annual fee of this card is Rs. 2999/-. This fee is waived off when you if you spend more than Rs. 3 lakh per year, i.e., you just have to spend Rs.25000 per month on your card to hit Rs.3 lakh per year.

    On signing up, you get an e-gift voucher worth Rs. 3000 as a benefit. These e-gift vouchers have a variety of options to choose from the brands like Yatra, Shoppers Stop, Pantaloons, Mark & Spencer, Bata, and Hush Puppies

    Once the annual fee is paid, then the customer is offered the different types of an e-voucher to choose from.

    SBI Prime Card Benefits

    The target audience of this card is primarily shopaholics. This card gives you many points for even online grocery shopping, which makes you earn 15-20 points on spending Rs. 100

    1. Utility Bill Payments

    In this card for the bill payments, you have an auto-debit feature, through which many bills like phone bills, electricity bills, etc. get debited from your account automatically. About 5% cashback is done in the form of reward points of approximately 20 for each Rs. 100 spent, which means one reward point for twenty-five paise.

    2. Dining & Department stores

    This credit card has tie-ups with many grocery stores with exclusive offers. For example,

    • 3.5% cashback on BigBasket, which is up to 15 credit points approximately for Rs. 100 spent.
    • 20% off on Zomato orders above Rs.300.
    • 10 reward points are earned by spending on Dining, Departmental Store, Groceries, and Movies by spending Rs 100, giving us approximately 2.5% of cashback.
    • Additionally, on each transaction, you will get 2 reward points.

    3. Fuel Surcharge Waiver

    On fuel surcharge, you will get a cashback of 1%.

    4. BookMyShow Movies

    This card also provides 1+1 tickets on BookMyShow up to Rs.300 and offers on the snacks worth Rs.200 when booked through this site.

    SBI Prime Card Benefits in India

    1. Mile Stone Benefits

    E-voucher of Rs.7000 is provided when you spend Rs 5 lakh from Yatra or Pantaloons. This is a kind of bonus of 1.4%, which adds up to your regular rewards.

    2. More spending = More benefits.

    Even special birthday offers are also provided on this card, like 20 reward points on each Rs. 100 spent on your card.

    Though this 5% cashback is not enough on your birthday, if you make your birthday expenses through this card, it will earn you some extra reward points.

    3. Free Pizza Hut Vouchers

    When you spend approximately Rs. 50,000 in a quarter, then you are provided with two e-vouchers of Rs.500 each, which adds about 2% bonus in your regular rewards.

    SBI PRIME CARD Complimentary Offers

    1. Trident Package Membership

    • This card provides you a Trident membership, which provides you a good deal to stay if you choose the Trident chain of hotels.
    • 1500 bonus reward points are added to your account on your first hotel stay.
    • If you book from the hotel’s website, then you get an instant discount of 10%.

    2. MasterCard / Visa Privileges

    • Booking of hotel stay gives you 10000 miles, and if it is done through Kaligi.com, then an additional 25% extra miles are provided.
    • 8% off is provided on the bookings across the Asia Pacific when booked through hotels.com
    • Avis Car Rentals provide up to 35% off.

    3. Club VISTARA Silver Membership

    When you fly through Vistara Airline, then on each Rs100 you spend will give you a benefit of 9 Vistara club points.

    4. Airport Lounge Access

    There is one amazing benefit of this credit card, i.e., complimentary access to Airport Lounges.

    An Airport Lounge is a waiting area in the airport where you can have a relaxing wait and with a free meal until your boarding time starts. The experience of each Airport Lounge is different.

    If you apply for a priority pass after receiving your credit card, then that will further add up around four complimentary access to the International Airport Lounges per year, whereas the priority pass is not needed for Domestic Flights. The Lounge staff will just check the eligibility of your credit card by swiping it. Per year you will get 8 visits in Domestic Airport Lounges.

    1. Air Accidental Liability Cover

    This insurance is free for the cardholder. In this insurance, if any unfortunate accident happens while you are traveling by air, then your beneficiary will get up to Rs. 50,00,000 claims on your SBI credit card.

    2. Fraudulent Activity Cover

    SBI covers up to Rs. 1 lakh if any case of fraud happens in your account.

    3. Card Replacement

    In some cases, if you lose your credit card, SBI provides you a card in 3 days anywhere around the world.

    4. Add-on Cards 

    This card allows your family members, including your spouse, parents, children, and siblings, to have the credit card and enjoy all the benefits of the card and the power to spend.

    5. Cash on the Go

    There are approximately 1 million Visa ATMs all over the world where you can enjoy the benefits of withdrawals across the globe.

    6. Safe and Secure 

    This chip and pin enabled credit card enhances the security against counterfeiting and skimming.

    • Firstly, you have to fill a credit card application form.
    • PAN card copy or of Form 60
    • A valid identity proof. For example, Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN card, etc.
    • Proof of income through income slips, Form 16, IT return copy, etc.
    • Residencial proof like Passport, Ration Card, electricity bill, Aadhaar card, etc.
    • A colored passport size photograph of the applicant.
