Samrudhi Microfin Society , a non profit micrfinance NGO with operations in Gulbarga, Karnataka has launched an online P2P lending portal that connects social investors to its own clients replacing field partners.

The portal is hosted at wecareindia.org where you can lend as little as Rs. 100 to low income women entrepreneurs in India.

The website currently features borrowers from Gulbarga district of Karnataka , as the organisation expands to other states more borrowers are expected to be added.

Initially the loans will be focused on micro-credit, education, healthcare and agriculture. The lenders will be given a return on their social investment (principal and interest) according to the repayment schedule of the borrower.
