Under their new campaign, the DBS Bank has given the people an idea about their pan-India and pan-Asia presence and assured them that their increased physical presence and digital expertise are ready to take on challenges that customers may throw at them.
While DBS’s digital presence was already strong, the increased physical presence will surely work out well for the bank as well as its customers.
DBS Bank wishes to stand for the message that they have even shared through its brand’s film which reads, “its commitment to responsible banking and expertise in sustainable finance.”
A 360-degree campaign has been planned by the bank to put out its message and Leo Burnett is leading the film production and conceptualization of this campaign.
The ad for the campaign will be reaching the audiences via digital media, TV, outdoor ads, and other means. The TVC will run on 41 channels which will belong to various categories such as movies, news, GEC, etc., and the languages used to pass on the message will be Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and English.
Managing director- group strategic marketing and communications person Shoma Narayanan of DBS Bank spoke about the campaign and said, “Our new campaign underscores how we can bring together the best of both our global expertise and wide, local network to leverage our scale and create the best customer experience.”
DBS Bank is here with the New One DBS Campaign, however, this is not the first time that DBS Bank has done something out of the box. In the past, they came out with a mini-series named Sparks.
Inspired by true stories the series is focused on bankers challenging the status quo. It has raked in more than 115 million views and 16 million engagements in India alone. A new season launched this year.
Apart from winning over customers and thinking out of the box, DBS Bank has earned the title of World’s Best Bank and World’s Best Digital Bank by publications such as The Banker, Global Finance, and Euromoney in the past few years.

In 2022, Brand Finance recognized DBS Bank as the most valuable bank in Southeast Asia as well as among 40 of the top global bank brands.
The brand value of DBS Bank is 8.7 million dollars. Global Finance for the past 14 years, that is, from 2009 to 2022 has been awarding DBS Bank the title of the Safest Bank in Asia.
Lastly, the bank is being studied at Harvard as a transformational role model. Their digital transformation journey of 2023 is being used as a case study.
