The full form of B.Com is Bachelor of Commerce. This is the most preferred course by students. Some main factors are making it the most popular among students. Firstly, the level of difficulty in this course is normal. It is not a very difficult course. So, obtaining a degree through this is easier.

Another thing that this course has that after this course you can do some job-oriented courses too. For instance, you can do an MBA, Vocational studies, etc. This course is offered by different private and government colleges, which makes it further easy to get into some college for this course.

Duration of the course: 3 years

Admission process: The very basic criteria for qualification is that you should have passed a 10+ 2 or equivalent test. In most of the colleges and universities offering B.Com and B.Com (Hons), the eligibility to take admission is 50 or 60 percent marks in 12th. Admission is based solely on merit. Which is, based on Class 12th points, the merit list is decided. Universities and colleges announce cut-offs. Students who clear the cut off are accepted to colleges and courses respectively. There is no centrally administered entrance test for B.Com admissions. Many colleges offer university-level B.Com entrance tests, such as BHU.

2. LAW

According to the new rules, 12th class students can also do Law courses from Law schools. Earlier, it was only possible for the graduates to do so. For pursuing law, the 12th class students need to choose an integrated Law course, which is of 5 years. In the beginning, a person can apply for a job in any law firm, and eventually, he can start practicing individually or can start his own law firm. Some subjects of the course get repeated more than once in different semesters.

The admissions start in January, and the entrance test takes place around May. Some of these exams are CLAT, TS-LAWCET, AILET, LSAT. This program is deemed as one of the most popular courses, and there are numerous career options available for the same in both the private and public sectors.

Many lawyers, however, tend to become an advocate and start working in a law firm.

The full form of BBA is a Bachelor of Business Administration. It is a 3-year course. If this course is completed, later MBA can be taken up. This course is recommended because it becomes easier for commerce students. It is a 3-year course. After this course, various government, as well as private-sector jobs, are available. In this course, some of the important subjects are Macroeconomics, agricultural economics, Indian economics, public finance, international trade, etc.

Duration of the course: 3 years

Admission process: The general process for admission to the course is merit-based, i.e., on the qualifications earned at the 10 + 2 level by the candidate. Often, some institutes undertake entrance examinations to enroll in the course. A personal interview round can follow afterward.

Institute of Actuaries of India manages & handles this course & takes the responsibility of educating students in this field. The entrance test must be cleared before moving ahead for the course.

The name of the test is ACET. The student can move ahead after clearing this entrance test.
